  2.                          Notes on the usage of LSR.EXE

  5.        Most of the LSR.EXE options selected from the main menu are easily 
  6.        understood.   Option  17 -   Life Span  Revolution calculations  - 
  7.        requires some additional information. After selecting option 17:
  8.  
  9.        a). Enter the age of the event you want to investigate.
  10.  
  11.        b). Enter the rate of progression in degrees per year.  Entering a 
  12.        value of 1 gives primary directions for the Sun, Moon,  Ascendant, 
  13.        and  Midheaven.   Hitting  just  <ENTER>  starts  the  life   span 
  14.        revolution  calculations  at  a  rate  of  4.5  degrees  per year. 
  15.        Entering any other number sets the rate at  that many  degrees per 
  16.        year.

  18.        c). If you entered any number other than 1, you  go into  the life 
  19.        span revolution calculations. Move the mouse cursor to  any planet 
  20.        under any column, click  the left  mouse button,  and see  how the 
  21.        MC's and ASC's change in order for that selected planet to be  the 
  22.        number of degrees shown under the ASPECT heading at the right side 
  23.        of the screen away from the angle listed at the top of your chosen 
  24.        column. Conjunctions (0 degrees) are the most important.   See how 
  25.        your rate of progression shown on line 2 of the screen changes  as 
  26.        you put different planets conjunct the MC or ASC.?

  28.        To change the aspect to a sextile, trine or whatever instead of  a 
  29.        conjunction, simply move the mouse cursor  to an  angle listed  at 
  30.        the bottom of the screen, and click the left mouse  button. Notice 
  31.        how that number of degrees appears under the heading ASPECT at the 
  32.        right of the screen. Repeat starting at step c). above  to analyze 
  33.        how  the  MC's and  ASC's change  when a  selected planet  is that 
  34.        number of degrees from said angle (direct or converse angle).

  36.        To change the age of the event, simply  move the  mouse cursor  to 
  37.        the top  line and  click the  left mouse  button. Then  repeat all 
  38.        steps starting with step a).

  40.        Click the right mouse button at any time in order to return to the 
  41.        main menu.

  44.        d).  If you entered  a 1  for the  rate of  progression, then  the 
  45.        program  will  calculate  the   primary  directions   (direct  and 
  46.        converse)  for  the  Sun,  Moon,  Ascendant,  and MC.   Follow the 
  47.        directions at the bottom of the screen to  interpret what  you are 
  48.        viewing.
